The dry contact impulse counter is designed to count the impulses of equipment having a dry contact output, normally open (preferred) or normally closed:

This transmitter allows the connection of any device with an on/off status report to the EnOcean protocol where cable connections are neither advised nor possible.The sensor is equipped with a wire that can be connected to the potential-free output of a device to maximize compatibility.
• full stand-alone, the device is powered by the solar cell and operate without maintenance even after a few days in the dark.
• a back-up battery can be added to guarantee the continuity of operation even if luminosity is insufficient
• As soon as an impulse is detected by the sensor, a counting index is incremented. A radio signal containing the index is then sent every 15 minutes.
